Education Certificates
Education certificates that will be submitted for legalization must be signed, certified, and dated by a UK solicitor, a notary public, or a British Council representative. If the British Council certifies it, it must be an authentic educational qualification certificate.

Medical Records
When providing a medical document for an Apostille certificate that a medical practitioner must sign and it must include the signatory’s contact information, including their email address, in the application. This is necessary if the legalisation office needs to contact them to confirm their signature.

The Legalisation Office can only accept an original UK birth certificate or a certified copy from either the General Register Office (GRO) or a local register office.
